Sundance Film Festival.
The Sundance Film Festival is the largest American and international independent film festival event in the United States. Sponsored by the Sundance Institute, a Utah-based non-profit arts organization, this exciting 10-day festival draws thousands of attendees each January. Screenings take place in Park City, Salt Lake City, Sundance and Ogden, Utah. Catch a screening of one of the 200 drama and documentary films featured, while supporting independent film makers, screenwriters, film composers and theatre artists. Days of '47 Pioneer Day.
Mark your event calendars for the Days of '47, a spectacular celebration in remembrance of the history and heritage of Utah. Each July, Utah commemorates the first pioneer settlers of the Salt Lake Valley and the beginnings of settlement in the West. Celebrate Pioneer Day, a state-wide holiday, with the Days of '47 Parade, complete with dazzling floats, and live musical entertainment.
